LUNCH N LEARN – Learning Through Application – “Strengths-based development – help students put their strengths to work!”
The AHECS Psychometric Community of Practice has designed an opportunity to our members so that they can apply knowledge and expertise on Strengths based development in their work.
This session will include:
- A personalised self-assessment report based on Strengths Based Theories with general group based feedback led by Trudy Bateman, Director of Strengths Profile, Strengths Expert, Speaker & Author, Cappfinity.
- Case studies on how careers professionals use strengths methodology with students as part of effective guidance interventions. Many undergraduates and postgraduates are unsure of the career or role that would suit them best. Explore the benefits for universities and colleges who can facilitate students how one tool, called Strengths Profile, can be used to help them focus on what they are good at and what gives them energy.
- Insights on how employers use Strengths-based Interviews and Assessment Centres designed to assess potential and motivation; whether students already have experience in these areas or not.
