Lunch N Learn – From Campus to Career

Higher Education has been crucial to Ireland’s economic and broader social development particularly since the 1970s. Tracking graduate outcomes is therefore crucial to improving the quality of education for students and outcomes for graduates. Ireland has tracked Higher Education Graduates though an annual survey since 1982. The HEA are pleased to give an overview of the survey, firstly in the broader context of graduate tracking in Ireland. The aims and scope of the survey will be outlined, as well as key findings from the most recent Survey in 2025, as well as longer term trends. A profile of the survey and response cohort will be presented. The survey was reviewed in 2024, one of the outcomes of which is a revised survey which will be run in 2026. The HEA will provide and overview of the new survey, as well as provide an overview of the availability and accessibility of previous year’s survey results.
