Tara Prendergast, founder of The Biscuit Factory – a creative business community in Ireland
“I started The Biscuit Factory because I knew what it felt like to be a creative entrepreneur in Ireland and feel completely alone. To undercharge for my work, to doubt my abilities, and to think that “real business” was something other people did.
After years of struggling to value my creative work and connect with like-minded entrepreneurs, I realized there had to be a better way. Irish creatives are incredibly talented, but we needed a space that understood our unique challenges.
That’s when The Biscuit Factory was born. A community where being “too creative,” “too sensitive,” or “too much” isn’t a problem. It’s your superpower.”

Aideen Bodkin, Fashion Designer, Founder StlAi and creative entrepreneur
“I’m a creative entrepreneur, craftsperson, strategic thinker, and passionate about creativity, challenges, and learning. I enjoy helping others build and scale creative businesses.
Inspired by old Hollywood movies and taught by my talented mother and grandmother, I knew early on I wanted to be a fashion designer. I launched my internationally recognized label, Aideen Bodkin Design, in 1999 and started a second business in 2016, designing bespoke uniforms for CityJet.
Noticing changes in the fashion industry with the rise of online shopping and fast fashion, I aimed to reduce online returns, leading to the creation of Sizible. Sizible is an AI-powered software that matches consumer measurements to brand fit, reducing returns.”
We hope you can make it!
