Dear AHECS Community,
Hosted by Jillian O’Mahony, Work Placement Manager in the Career Services at University College Cork, the AHECS Executive Committee would like to kick start the new academic year by inviting you to attend our next regional in person workshop.
When: Tuesday 3rd September 2024

Time: 11am – 2pm
Theme: Supporting Local SME – how can HEI Career Services collaborate with local SME’s to meet their talent requirements
There are many conversations currently about the “war for talent” and engaging with early career talent. While much of the focus has been on supporting our larger organisations, we want to also ensure that HEI Career Services work with and offer opportunities for SME’s and smaller local employers to engage with students and hire to grow their business.
This regional workshop will offer members an opportunity to come together, hear from representatives of the sector, share experiences and discuss how we can ensure that these very important employment sector can be supported.
Registration will be via booking forms issued to your Head of Service.
Closing date for registrations is 2pm on Wednesday 28th August 2024
