About the Facilitator: Joanne Ryan, Freelance Theatre Practitioner. Award- winning Limerick based theatre artist, playwright, and performer with a track record of making quality, ambitious work in socio- political contexts. Currently Joanne is developing a number of different projects in partnership with Ormston House, Fishamble Theatre Company, and Lime Tree Theatre. In addition to her work as a writer and maker, Joanne has performed with many companies in Ireland. Joanne has received numerous grants and awards from Arts Council Ireland, Culture Ireland, Create, Local Authority as well as benevolent funds and other funding bodies. She regularly consults with artists across art-forms advising on funding and other applications.
