We are delighted to announce that our next Biennial Conference will be taking place on the 28th and 29th May, 2024 in TU Dublin Grangegorman Campus. Booking information will be sent on to all members shortly.
Conference Title: Shifting professional practice to meet the needs of Gen Z
In today’s rapidly evolving workplace, career professionals must continuously adapt their professional practices to meet the unique needs of each generation entering the workforce. One generation that demands special attention and tailored approaches is Generation Z (Gen Z), those born between 1997 and 2012. As this tech-savvy, socially conscious, and ambitious cohort begins to step into the professional world, career professionals need to shift their approaches to effectively guide, mentor, and support them on their career paths.
Gen Z brings with them a unique set of expectations, preferences, and needs when it comes to their engagement with career services, which require innovative and adaptable approaches. As Gen Z continues to shape the future of work, it is essential for career professionals to evolve with them and provide the guidance and support they need to succeed.
This conference will aim to explore why and how career professionals can shift their professional practice to effectively engage and support Gen Z individuals. It will involve keynote speakers who will challenge your current practices and service delivery. Delegates will have the opportunity to share their practices and new initiatives at the conference in breakout workshops.
We look forward to welcoming you to TU Dublin to what we hope will be an enjoyable and thought provoking 2 days.
